Delivering a Pocket Bully Puppy to Canada & Defying the Unexpected

On a memorable Mother’s Day, I embarked on a journey to Canada from Southeast Bully Kennels in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a pocket bully puppy as a special gift. However, I realized upon arriving at the airport that I had left my phone at home. The idea of turning back was impractical, as everything was scheduled and I couldn’t afford to put a damper on the plans.

Through this experience, I learned some valuable lessons. For instance, most people are hesitant to lend their phones for a call. However, if you ask them to dial and put it on speaker, they’re more inclined to comply. Clocks are surprisingly scarce, and being phoneless made me realize this. In today’s world, it’s unusual to see someone not glued to their screens, and my phone-free state for hours did garner several curious glances.

Traveling to Vancouver from Charlotte requires a minimum of 13 hours in transit(if no flight delays or cancels), thanks to layovers and the necessity of arriving 2 hours early for TSA. Amidst this, I found an unexpected serenity in not having a phone. Accepting the fact that you’re without a device can be quite liberating and relaxing.

Delivering bully puppies puts us in direct contact with unexpected occurrences. Whether it’s a delayed flight, canceled flight, turbulence, crying babies, or hot and cold airplanes, our team at Southeast Bully Kennels has always remained dedicated to ensuring the safe arrival of these precious pups to their new families. No matter what is thrown at us on the journey, we get the job done. During these flights, the puppies ride on our laps, receiving the utmost care and attention.

Here at Southeast Bully Kennels, we are a full-service breeder. From carefully selecting and breeding the dogs to providing training, and in some cases, even educating the owners, we handle every aspect of the process. Our dedication extends beyond the breed itself, and we are truly grateful for the hard work of everyone behind the scenes. Day in and day out, without taking any days off, they contribute to producing and raising our exceptional bloodline, the Block Bloodline.

It is through the collective efforts of our dedicated team that we can confidently provide top-notch service and deliver healthy, well-cared-for puppies to their forever homes. Our journey without a phone taught us the importance of adaptability and finding peace in unexpected circumstances. The bond we share with these puppies and the joy of uniting them with their new families make every challenge worthwhile.
