Three Females We Kept: Destiny, Jewel & Monroe | The Future of Our Micro Bully Program

When you’ve spent years building bloodlines, certain breedings stand out from the rest.

One of those breedings for us was Menace ร— River.

What makes this breeding special is that both parents were produced right here at Southeast Bully Kennels. Menace now lives with his family in Seattle, Washington, where he continues representing the quality and temperament we strive to produce. River remains here with us and continues to be an important part of our program.

From this breeding, we made the decision to keep three females that we believed represented the future of our Micro Bully program:

Destiny Jewel Monroe

Today, all three females are mature Micro Bullies and have developed exactly as we hoped. Each one brings something unique to the table while continuing the traits we’ve spent generations preserving through our breeding program.

Built From Bloodlines We Produce Ourselves

One thing that separates Southeast Bully Kennels from many breeding programs is that we aren’t constantly searching for the next dog to buy.

Instead, we focus on producing, evaluating, training, and developing our own bloodlines generation after generation.

Menace was produced here.

River was produced here.

Destiny, Jewel, and Monroe were produced here.

The future stud pairings we have planned were produced here as well.

Everything ties back into a breeding program we’ve spent years developing through our own productions. As members of the American Bully Kennel Club (ABKC), we are committed to producing quality American Bullies while preserving sound temperament, structure, and consistency within our bloodlines.

Destiny: A Blue Female With a Bright Future

Destiny matured into a beautiful blue Micro Bully female with plenty of breed type, confidence, and athleticism.

From an early age (at 8 months in the video), Destiny displayed the intelligence and trainability we value in our dogs. She has grown up around puppies, larger dogs, chickens, cats, and regular everyday activity, helping shape her into a stable and well-socialized female.

As she enters our breeding program, we expect Destiny to continue passing along the temperament, confidence, and structure that have become trademarks of our kennel.

Jewel: Compact, Feminine, and Consistent

Jewel developed into an eye-catching fawn Micro Bully female and continues to be one of our favorite examples of what this breeding produced.

She combines the extreme feminine features with the compact build and overall balance we look for when evaluating future producers.

Jewel has spent her entire life being exposed to puppies, other dogs, cats, chickens, visitors, and a wide variety of environments. That kind of socialization creates a more adaptable and confident dog, which is something we believe becomes especially important once a female starts raising her own litters.

Monroe: The Gray Female We Couldn’t Let Go

Monroe, our gray Micro Bully female, rounded out this incredible trio.

As she matured, Monroe continued showing many of the same qualities that made us want to keep her in the first place. Strong structure, confidence, excellent social skills, and the temperament we want representing our program for generations to come.

She has grown into a beautiful female that we believe will play a major role in the future of Southeast Bully Kennels.

Socialization Matters

At Southeast Bully Kennels, we believe socialization starts long before a dog enters a breeding program.

Every female we keep receives training and daily interaction within a real-world environment.

Our females grow up around:

  • Puppies
  • Adult dogs
  • Large breed dogs
  • Free-roaming chickens
  • Cats
  • Children
  • Visitors
  • Everyday household activity

We believe these experiences help create confident, stable dogs that can thrive in a variety of situations.

More importantly, we believe well-socialized females help raise well-socialized puppies.

Genetics matter, but so does environment. When puppies are raised by calm, confident mothers, they often develop confidence much easier themselves.

This philosophy is one of the reasons training remains such an important part of what we do. You can learn more about our approach on our Dog Training Program page:

Planned Breedings For Destiny, Jewel & Monroe

One of the most exciting things about these females is what comes next.

We already have future breedings planned using several standout males from our program, including:

  • Phenom
  • Fresh Prince
  • Bad Daddy
  • Select young males we are currently raising and evaluating

What makes these future breedings unique is that they continue bloodlines we have spent years developing.

Rather than chasing trends, we focus on preserving and improving traits we know firsthand through generations of production. Every planned breeding has a purpose and moves us closer to the long-term goals we’ve established for our Micro Bully program.

Ten Generations of Development

Many kennels can tell you where they purchased their dogs.

We can tell you where ours were born.

For years, we’ve focused on producing our own dogs, evaluating them honestly, keeping the best representatives, and continually improving generation after generation.

Destiny, Jewel, and Monroe are the result of that commitment.

They represent the continuation of bloodlines we’ve spent years developing and refining through approximately ten generations of production.

Each generation gives us more insight into the traits we can consistently produce, helping us build a program centered around predictability, temperament, structure, and family-friendly companions.

The Future of Southeast Bully Kennels

When we look at Destiny, Jewel, and Monroe, we don’t just see three beautiful Micro Bully females.

We see years of planning.

We see generations of development.

We see the future of our breeding program.

As these females begin producing litters of their own, paired with males like Phenom, Fresh Prince, Bad Daddy, and several promising young studs we’re currently developing, we’re excited to continue building upon a foundation we’ve spent years creating ourselves.

That commitment to consistency, training, temperament, and responsible breeding is one of the reasons Southeast Bully Kennels has earned an A+ Better Business Bureau rating and accreditation.
